What is StateBook?
Four years of intensive research and design work with Economic Development Organizations (EDOs), site selectors, universities and government agencies has evolved into StateBook: the first online marketplace for economic development and corporate site selection. StateBook strategically aggregates, updates and organizes more than 63,000 data points from over 50 sources with technology tools developed to help the industry perform their jobs more efficiently and effectively. StateBook democratizes data that is otherwise unwieldy and opaque, and levels the playing field so EDOs large and small can compete for projects.
EDOs
StateBook provides EDO’s with the data and technology tools they need to enhance and promote their economic development brand with a robust online presence and competitive advantage. EDO’s who join as StateBook Members may upload their own information, photos and more to communicate the unique benefits of their region to site selectors and companies, complementing objective StateBook Stats and data tools.
Site Selection
StateBook’s standardized data platform and GIS mapping tools provide Site Selectors with the ability to confidentially search, filter and compare communities, counties and MSA’s across diverse, complex and ever- changing variables. Site Selectors may create meaningful reports and anonymously contact EDO’s to request additional information.
Advertisers
Strategically advertise your products, services and available real estate to companies interested in relocating or expanding in your local community, or nationwide. Up to fifty percent of advertising revenue goes directly to support local EDOs that have joined as StateBook members.
StateBook provides the most comprehensive, current, local and national data aggregated in an elegant, easy-to-use set of custom reporting and comparison tools. Site selection decision makers, EDOs and advertisers can make thoughtful, sustainable decisions at a fraction of the cost of obtaining the information any other way.
